6 MAJOR WAYS TO EARN PASSIVELY WITH PLR

PLR stands for ‘Private Label Rights’. This describes a type of ‘license’ that gives the user the right to not only resell the product, but also to edit however they see fit. In your case, that means that you can buy an ebook, change the title, change the cover and add your own name as the author. From there, you can then sell the product without ever having to mention the original creator, thereby generating more profit, strengthening your brand and improving engagement with your audience.

It’s the perfect business model in many ways because you don’t need to spend lots of time or money developing your own product and yet you get all of the freedom that would normally come from having something of your own.

But how precisely do you go about making money from a PLR product? What other ways are there for you to profit from digital products that come with the rights to resell?

You might be surprised to learn that there’s even more you can do to make money from a digital product that you likely hadn’t thought of…

This post will provide you with a ton of advice and ideas that you can use entirely for free to begin increasing your own sales and profits.

Read on!

1 .Sell Your Product

The primary way to make money from a digital product is simply to sell it. This is what most PLR product creators expect you to do and they have provided all of the means to make it as simple and easy as possible. This is why most PLR packages don’t only include the ebook or other digital product for you to sell but also come with extra materials to help drive more sales and the marketing materials you need to convince more people to buy – things like sales pages, adverts, emails and more.

This is what makes the PLR product business model such a fantastically smart one: it is a literal ‘copy and paste’ business model. And it goes even further than that too – seeing as you’ll often also have evidence that the product is already selling. That completely removes any risk because you know that the product you’re choosing at least has the potential to be a big earner. Simply take the existing product and all of its marketing and then upload it to your own server. From there, you can begin to profit.

Oh, and seeing as the product is so quick and easy to set up and start selling, there’s also nothing to stop you from selling multiple products from your site and thereby scaling your business in a big way! Just buy a few more PLR products and add those to your site as well and that way you can double, triple or quadruple your sales and profits! This would take a huge amount of time to accomplish were you trying to do the same thing with digital products you created from scratch.

2 .Use Your Product as an Incentive

But selling PLR products is only one option. Another option is to use them as incentives to encourage people to sign up to your mailing lists.

Many creators and bloggers believe that email marketing is one of the most important ways to drive traffic to a blog and to sell products. Email gives you a particularly direct way to reach your audience that isn’t controlled by a third party (unlike Twitter or Facebook) and because your subscribers need to actively sign up, it tends to also be a very ‘targeted’ audience, meaning that they’re people who will be likely to be interested in your products and want to buy from you.

There’s also the opportunity to use longer-form marketing here and to gradually build a relationship/build interest in a product – something that is hard to do with social media seeing as you have no assurance that people will see all your posts on Facebook or Twitter.

The problem is getting people to sign up in the first place, which is why it pays to have a digital product that you can use as an incentive. The idea is simple: you offer a completely ‘free’ product but the only way your visitors can get hold of it is to sign up for your mailing list so that you can send it to them. The free incentive then serves double purpose as it will also allow you to demonstrate the kind of value that you’re capable of delivering through the written word and that in turn will encourage readers to want more of what you offer and to make a purchase.

The great thing about PLR packages is that they will often include things like incentives (often free reports) and even the squeeze pages (pages that you place the sign-up forms on) and the emails themselves all as part of the same package. Even if they don’t though, you can purchase a relatively small PLR product and then use that as a tool to encourage more people to sign up to your mailing list!

3.‘Bundle’ Your Products

As mentioned, one of the best things about selling PLR products is just how quick and easy it is to add extra products to your repertoire and to thereby start selling more and more items.

But there’s another reason to consider buying additional products too – and that’s that it will allow you to create ‘bundles’. A bundle of course is a selection of products that you are going to sell together in order to offer your customers savings. For example, you might have a book on building muscle and a book on losing weight and you might offer to sell both of these individually. But what you can then also do, is to offer to sell them as a pair and call it the ‘ultimate body recomposition package’.

This is important because it offers the customer the chance to choose the option that best suits their needs. Perhaps the customer wants to save money and they’re only interested in losing weight. In that case, it’s a good thing that you have provided the option to just focus on that one area. But if the customer wants to know as much about fitness as possible, then offering to combine the two books into a single package – with savings – is a great way to cater to that kind of audience too.

You can combine as many books as you like to make ultimate and superior packages, or you can break them down as small as you like, even selling off chapters. This way you don’t lose out on customers who only want to spend a small amount of cash, or who want as much information as humanly possible…

4 .Add Affiliate Links

Once you’ve sold the product, that’s as much money as you can make from that particular item right? Wrong! In fact, there’s nothing to stop you from continuing to earn more and more from a single item by using it as a way to encourage more sales and greater engagement.

One of the simplest ways to do this is by adding your own affiliate links inside the book. This is something that you can do very easily, seeing as most ebooks are going to be providing advice and guidance. What’s more, is that the people who buy your books are making a serious commitment to following that advice and to following your recommendations.

So, what does this mean? It means that you can point them in the direction of specific services, tools and products that you recommend and get paid commission for recommending them. Seeing as they have paid for your advice, there’s a better-than-average chance that they’re going to listen to you and then click the links and make a purchase. Just make sure that the items you’re promoting are actually things that you recommend and believe in – or you’ll lose their trust.

Not a fan of making money as an affiliate? Then why not use an ebook to plug other products that you’re selling? If you’re selling two PLR products from your site for instance, then why not promote each one inside the other?

5 .Sell a Physical Product

When we think of PLR products, we mostly tend to think of PLR products such as ebooks, free reports or online courses. Because these don’t require any overheads (no materials, no storage, no delivery), they allow for unlimited profit to come from a single purchase and that makes them ideal for this kind of ‘copy-paste’ business model.

But there are advantages to physical products too. For starters, physical products tend to have a much larger appeal. People like physical products because they can hold them in their hands and thus they feel like they’ve gotten something tangible for their money. Many markets – such as more elderly readers – will tend to prefer physical books because they don’t use computers as much. And what’s more, is that anyone can create a digital product. Not anyone can create a physical product and as such, the simple fact that you are selling one will make your business appear more professional and will help you to increase trust and increase authority!

Here’s the awesome part: you can turn your digital product into a physical product. And if you have  PLR product, then you have the right to do so. All you need to do, is to find a PoD (Print on Demand) publishing service from the likes of LuLu. These let you turn digital PRF or Word documents into physical books and they only charge you when someone actually makes a purchase – at which point the book will be printed on the spot!

This is a great way to upgrade your offering and can also be very exciting!

6 .Re-Use Your Content

Finally, why not turn your ebook into something completely different? The sky is the limit in this regard as you should have an entire book’s worth of written content and images and there’s nothing to stop you from using that however you like.

Want to turn your ebook into a series of lessons so that you can sell an online course? Then just remove chapters or sections from the book and then send them through an autoresponder on a regular basis. Want to turn your book into a massive online resource and then charge for access? Again, you can simply break it down into more bite-sized lessons and then let users download those elements as they like.

Another cool option is to turn an ebook into a video or into an audio book. To do this, all you need to do is to read it out and record yourself as you do. Then, your audience can listen to the book while they go about their regular business. If you’re not someone who is comfortable to go in front of a camera but you still want to make a video, then you just need to record the audio and then have it play over a slideshow.

You can even sell the ebook as an app. If you have the skills, then you can make each page appear when the user swipes the screen and add interactive elements or short videos to make use of the multimedia nature of the platform. Don’t know how? Then hire someone to do it for you!

This is the amazing thing about PLR products: they give you complete freedom to use them however you choose.

HOW TO OVERCOME WRITER'S BLOCK

Writing is not always as simple or easy as it sounds but once you get a hang of it, the journey can be very revealing and enjoyable.
For most writers who use the traditional style of drafting their book on paper or typing away on their PC or smartphone, the back ache and numbness of fingers is not a funny experience but an avoidable occupational hazard.
👇👇Ask me how ...
We also have to deal with the seasonal mind blankness called writer's block , where you lose all sense of creativity, imagination and inspired ideas on what to write next.
You could sit, staring at your blank page of paper or screen, chewing on your pen ,with nothing to show for your time except the trash can filled with torn sheets of paper or the cursor blinking on your screen .
This is the bane of every writer, happens to both newbie and matured authors and could go on for weeks ,months and years if not addressed.
It's emotionally depressing,
Leaves you feeling mentally drained and disassociated from your book.
It's every writer's fear .
The lack of choice words.
Compelling Ideas.
Original Content.
Intriguing and unique Story
Creativity and imagination.
It's usually better to avoid it.
Here's how I manage to,
🎯 Always meditate on your book idea.
There's so much power in the mind , to create and repair things .
What you give thought to , you give life to.
The more you think about your book, the more it opens up , reveals different dimensions, angles and options to you.
Depending on your daily timing and routine, create at least 30 mins to 1 hr twice daily , preferably in the mornings and at night to think creatively and meditate on your content or book idea.
🎯 Study always.
A good writer, is a good reader.
What you read influences and develops your sensitivity to ideas and words.
It increases and upgrades your vocabulary.
Read good books in the genre or niche of your choice.
Study the flow of words of these writers.
Like a sponge soak in every detail and develop your mind's capacity for imaginative thinking.
Set aside at least 1- 2 hrs daily to study if you want to avoid mind block.
Find your convenient time , but I know mornings and before bed works wonders for me.
🎯 Take notes always.
Form a habit of jotting down your ideas, put down every teeny teeny detail, thought , idea or imagination on paper.
The bluntest pencil is sharper than the sharpest mind.
So to sharpen your human mind which is prone to stress, fatigue, memory loss and other negative emotions .
Takes down notes from your peak periods.
These periods don't just happen you create them by studying, meditating and relaxing.
Carry writing materials in all your purse and bags.
Drop them in every corner of your house and room.
Mine are beside my pillow ,on the table ,everywhere so I don't have to bother looking for them.
Still thinking of how to keep one in the kitchen and bathroom, because ideas kinda flow freely there .
🎯 Plan your day.
As a writer, I write my daily to do list for the next day after work, and before going to bed.
After I must have studied on my book project, thought about it, jotted somethings down and then plan my next step .
By so doing ,I usually wake up feeling refreshed , in a hurry to get to work and start downloading the fresh ideas I received through the night.
🎯 Have a spiritual personal quiet time
Your spiritual health controls your mental and emotional health.
Any writer that has no faith base will depend on something else for inner strength.
When life is pushing you to the wall.
You feel like tearing out your hair or losing hope.
Your faith , personal relationship with God, gives you renewed vigor, strength and inspiration even in the midst of all odds .
It puts you in the right frame of mind for each day ,helps you balance your mood, temperament and personality for productivity despite the happenings around you.
🎯 Unwind and relax
As a writer you can't afford to overstress your mind , brain or eyes.
All are connected.
Once you begin to feel physically down , it transmits a negative signal to your brain and kaboom💥 your mind shuts off.
Find what makes you happy.
Develop a hobby or a fun activity not a passion.
(Hobby is leisurable, passion is tasking)
It could be watching a romantic bollywood, western detective movie , listening to music or dancing ( like me )
Puzzles, drawings , games etc whatever increases your dopamine level naturally and helps adrenaline flow freely once again .
I don't need to tell you to ,
Eat well , early and healthy.
Take enough water.
Sleep well, not too long , not too short.
Find a conducive writing space.
Create a writing routine.
And writer's block will be far from you.

HOW TO FIND YOUR NICHE IN ANY BUSINESS

What is a Niche

A niche market is a small, specialized part of a larger industry where people have problems and are looking for solutions.
For example, the health niche is an enormous market, consisting of numerous highly profitable niche markets such as:
  • Fitness
  • Healthy living
  • Yoga
  • Skin care
  • Diabetes
....and many more.

Another Example:

The Internet Marketing Industry is large a market too and consists of many smaller niche markets like:
  • Email Marketing
  • Affiliate Marketing
  • Video Marketing
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Content Marketing
  • And Many More.
It's important to focus your marketing efforts on small, profitable and evergreen niches.

Targeting large markets is difficult, because those markets are already crowded. However, when you concentrate on smaller niches, you don't need as much market share to be successful.

When targeting a specific niche market it's often possible to find many sub-niche markets that have less competition, which makes it a lot easier to make profits.

Sub-Niches

Sub-niches are highly targeted parts of niche markets.

So For Example:

In the Fitness niche market, great sub-niche markets are:
  • Workouts for women
  • Fitness equipment for seniors
  • Fitness for kids
  • Testosterone workout pills
  • Pregnancy workouts

Another Example:

In the Email Marketing niche market great sub-niche markets are:
  • Autoresponder software
  • Business marketing automation
  • Email marketing training
  • List building
  • Email copywriting
You'll need a solid foundation in marketing for niches and sub-niches in order to choose a profitable niche.

The 3 P's Niche of Selection Strategy

1. Passion:

I believe passion is the most important factor when choosing a niche market. You absolutely NEED to be passionate about your niche. Remember that choosing your niche is choosing your online business industry.
To be successful with niche marketing, you must write great content, connect with people in the industry and having fun while doing so. I tried niches I’m not passionate about and the truth is, it felt like a job, it was not fun and it was hard to write good content. Your chances of success are higher if you’re having fun in your business!

2. Products:

If you want to know if a niche is profitable and has a good audience, look to see if there are products for sale in that niche. Consider these products to be products that belong to your competitors. If there’s lots of products for sale in your niche or sub-niche, there’s an audience and customers that are buying those products. So there is demand and means it can be profitable. Let me share with you how I research profitable niche markets and see if there’s products for sale or demand for products on Amazon in that niche.

Amazon.com is the world’s largest online store and a great website to research niches. Amazon has an affiliate program, so you’re likely to find good affiliate products to promote in your niche too. You’ll also get lots of ideas for brainstorming sub-niches to target.

Steps to take:

  • Go to Amazon.com
  • Use the search bar and type in a niche you’re passionate about and press search or enter.
  • Rinse and repeat for niches that interest you.
  • On the left side, you’ll see sub-niche each time you search.
  • By doing this, you’ll see if there are products for sale in that niche.
  • Remember, if there’s lots of products for sale there’s lots of demand.

3. Problems:

The key to success as a niche marketer is to help your audience solve problems. If there’s lots of problems in a niche, the products you see in that niche are likely solutions to problems people face in the niche. There’re many sites you can use to research problems in a niche. These problems in your niche are great product ideas you can use to coach your market. Helping people in your market is the best way to establish trust, build credibility, and ultimately earn success in your niche. Find their problems and be the solution!

  • If a niche is big and profitable, it will have forums which discuss its problems.
  • Use Google.com and search to see if there are forums in your niche.
  • If there are, visit them and browse their threads
  • Use the forum search feature to find topics related to your niche and see what problems people are facing in the niche.
  • Forums are a great way to connect with your audience and to help them.

OK so now that you understand how to choose your niche.

I will share with you my personal niche selection strategy which is diving deeper into the 3 P’s Niche Selection Strategy.

The first thing to do is write 5 niches or sub-niches you’re passionate about in a text doc.

things you love, Things you’re good at, things you can see yourself writing about for the next few years.

Now you have a list of potential niche markets all you need do is to research them for profitability.

Would you love to turn your passion into profits?

HOW TO BECOME A GO-TO PERSON IN YOUR NICHE

As you likely already know, creating content is one of the keys to building a thriving online business (especially an infoproduct business). You need content to:

Generate traffic.

Convert this traffic into subscribers.

Build relationships with your prospects.

Convert prospects into buyers.

Convert buyers into repeat customers.

And of course if you’re selling infoproducts, then you also need plenty of content in the form of ebooks, videos and more to sell to your customers.

Now here’s the thing…

None of this content is going to be all that effective if you’re not considered an expert/authority or the “go to” source for a specific topic in your market.

Makes sense, right? If no one has ever really heard of you, then they’re not going to beat down your virtual door to get their hands on your content.

So, the question is, how do you become the “go to” source for trusted content in your niche?

Hint: it’s not a “one and done” sort of thing. Instead, you need to take multiple steps on a consistent basis to build and protect your brand reputation as a trusted source. Here’s how to do it…

Specialize in One Topic

Don’t try to be a Jack of all trades in your niche. Instead, find one topic and specialize in it. Ideally, this should be a topic that others aren’t specializing in too, or one that you can compete in because you have some special qualifications.

This doesn’t mean you can’t write about other topics. It just means you want to develop a reputation as the “go to” source for one specialized topic.

For example, maybe you’re selling Self Publishing information You can write about all sorts of self publishing topics, but perhaps you specialize in narrow topic, such as low content and PLR.

To really make this effective, you may want to introduce some branding that emphasizes your specialization. Let’s go back to the bodybuilding example, and let’s suppose Am an expert at helping people especially women become the persons of their dreams. Whenever I sign my name, it might look something like this: “Ihuoma, TheNewwoman.”

Another example: “Ihuoma Ariwodo, the Bookpreneur .”

Offer Breaking News

Part of becoming a “go to” source is being the first to share news in your niche, especially with regards to how the news impacts your audience and any related advice you can give to them. In particular, focus on sharing news related to your specialty topic.

TIP: When you share news, be sure to link to quality news articles from reputable news sources (e.g., the Associated Press). Avoid fringe news sites in order to protect your reputation.

Blow Your Own Horn

Why should your audience listen to you? Here’s where you blow your own horn by touting your credentials. This includes anything that makes you uniquely qualified to teach your specific specialty topic (and the niche topic as a whole), such:

Relevant education credentials.

Work experience.

Awards and accolades.

Results you’ve created for yourself.

Results you’ve created for others.

Strategies you’ve pioneered.

Items you’ve invented.

Other experts who’ve endorsed you.

…And any other proof that you’re a trusted source of information when it comes to this topic.

For example, if you’ve won a prestigious award in your industry, then share this credential with your audience. You can share it on your site’s “About” page, in the sidebar of your blog, in your social media profiles, in the “About” section of your free and paid products, in your newsletter byline… and basically anywhere else that your audience sees it.

You can also mention your credentials in the middle of a blog article or other content. Even something as simple as one line can help answer the reader’s question about why they should listen to you.

Let’s suppose you’re writing about self publishing. You can let people know you’ve been doing it a long time by sharing a story within your content. E.G. “When I published my first book a year ago, I admit I made a few mistakes…”

Make a Great Impression

The key here is to make sure every piece of content you publish is high-quality and looks great. This means doing the following:

Creating well-written, engaging and accurate content from the scratch or with PLR, what is plr

Designing the interior of the product so that it looks polished and professional.

Getting a professional ecover using diy.com

If you can’t do any of these things yourself, then it’s a good idea to outsource these tasks to professionals. You can post projects on sites like Upwork.com, Guru.com and Fiverr.com.

Share Good Content for Free

The idea behind this strategy is to share the high-caliber content for free that others charge for. Not only does this help establish you as the “go to” source in your market, but it also makes people figure your paid content must be REALLY good since your free content is better than most.

Provide Something Fresh

Part of becoming the go-to source of content means that you can’t just share the same type of content that everyone else is sharing. In order to develop a reputation as an expert/authority in your niche, you need to share content that others aren’t sharing.

If you can pioneer a strategy, that’s awesome. If you can share a tip that you’ve never seen anyone else share, that’s good too. Here are other ways to share unique content:

Create a case study or experiment. While others may also do case studies or experiments, no two are the same.

Tell a personal story. For example, did you have to overcome some sort of obstacle before getting results in the niche? Do you have an embarrassing story to share? While others may share stories, your story is unique to you. Not only do stories make your content more memorable, it also helps you engage readers on an emotional level.

Share information in a unique way. For example, if everyone shares information in text-format in your niche, then you can stand out by sharing short videos. (This also helps humanize you and builds trust in your audience.)

Create a formula. Still another way to stand out from your competitors is by creating a formula for achieving a step-by-step process. I like to use this strategy by creating acronyms around a process. So, even though others are sharing similar information, my formula stands out (and by creating a formula, I’m positioned as an expert).

For example, let’s suppose you have six-step formula for building a business. You may call it the “P.R.O.F.I.T.” formula, where each letter corresponds to a step of the process. E.G., Step 1, PICK a Business Model, Step 2, RESEARCH the Market… and so on with the rest of the letters in the formula all corresponding to a step of the process.

Interact With Readers

In order to move past the image of you as a faceless “company,” you need to interact with your readers. That’s why you should post content to interactive platforms, such as a blog (with comments enabled) and social media. Be sure to reply to comments and/or “like” comments. This helps build relationships and rapport with readers, and cements their loyalty.

Host Live Events

Live events – such as a webinar – tend to carry a high perceived value. As such, any time you do a live event, your audience is going to treat it as highly valuable content. This goes a long way in helping cement your reputation as an authority in the niche. Plus, a live event gives you the opportunity to interact one-on-one with your audience as you field questions and showcase your expertise with your answers.

Protect Your Reputation

Your reputation is one of your most valuable assets. It takes time to build a good reputation in your niche as a source of quality information, but you can destroy your reputation with just one poor post or product. That’s why you’ll want to fiercely protect your good reputation with these tips:

Post high-quality content only. Don’t push out subpar content just to meet a deadline. Better to be a few hours late than to put out something that will destroy your reputation.

Be careful with what you promote. Review and use every single product that you promote, and be brutally honest in your assessment. If you don’t think your audience should buy a particular product, then say so. This sort of honesty will help build your reputation as someone trustworthy in the niche.

Blanket Your Niche With Content

Still another way to position yourself as the go-to source of information is by blanketing your niche with content. Whenever your prospects search for information online, you want the to encounter YOUR name and content. This repeated association will help you build your authority in the niche.

Here are some of the ways to distribute your content:

Publish high-quality content on your blog.

Do guest blogging.

Share content via your newsletter.

Post on social media.

Syndicate your content.

Use search engine optimization strategies so that prospects find your content when they’re searching for specific niche problems.

Do webinars.

Produce high-quality freemiums and lead magnets.

Create rebrandable reports for your affiliates to distribute.

Publish a book on Kindle.

Sell a hard copy book (check CreateSpace.com).

Give local talks and post the video clips.

Create other videos to share on YouTube, your blog, and social media.

Create viral content such as infographics, short videos, blog post and similar.

Distribute press releases locally as well as using services such as PRWeb.com.

Ask your joint venture partners to help you distribute your content.

Place paid advertising that points to your content.

Post comments/content in niche communities such as forums and Facebook groups (preferably ones you own, but you can post in ones belonging to others as well).

You get the idea – everywhere your prospects look in your niche should have them stumbling on your name and content.

Do Interviews

When you do an interview, you’re automatically viewed as an expert on the topic. That’s why you’ll want to offer yourself for interviews to people in your niche. This includes:

Encouraging affiliates to interview you. You can then promote your offer using your affiliate’s link, so you’ll both make money when people buy through the interview.

Creating a “media page” on your site to encourage the media to contact you for interviews about your specialty topic. Be sure to include information about the topics you’re qualified to speak on, with an emphasis on your specialty topic. Be sure to also include video or audio clips (samples) from past interviews.

Seeking out interviews in your niche. Is there a blogger, talk radio host or other influencer who tends to do plenty of interviews in your niche? If so, get in touch with them to offer yourself as a guest expert on your specialty topic. Again, send clips so that they can see for themselves that you’ll be a high-quality guest.

Now a few parting thoughts…

Your Assignment

As you can see, becoming a “go to” source in your niche – an expert – isn’t something that comes about overnight. Instead, you need to take the above steps and keep taking them over time to build and then protect your reputation. However, it’s well worth the investment of time, as people much prefer to do business with an authority rather than some no-name person in your niche, which means higher conversions. What’s more, experts can charge more for information versus others who aren’t well-known in the niche. That’s why you’ll want to get started on these tactics as soon as possible to start developing your good reputation in your niche.

To that end, here’s your assignment for this lesson: create a plan for becoming the go-to expert in your niche. Go through each of the steps and tips listed in this lesson, and brainstorm how you can implement that tip in your business.

Meanwhile, I’ll see you in the next post.

WHAT IS PLR

Chances are if you have been looking for a way to make money online, you may have come across the term PLR products. These are products that have Private Label Rights. They come in many forms like ebooks, articles, videos and softwares. Of course there are many other types like , makeup, clothing and food but for the sake of this book we will be focusing on digital based products. Private Label Rights means that you get the full rights to a product when you buy the license to this type of digital product, which often includes the ability to edit, brand, use , distribute and sell as if they are yours. You get to claim authorship just as if you were the creator.

Making money with PLR products is great because most of the work is already done for you and in most cases your options are only limited by your ingenuity. So now that you have a better idea of what PLR is and what you can do with it the next big question is,

Is it profitable?

The answer to that question is YES. However ,how much money you make will depend on what you do with it.

There is no need to credit the original author, all profits are entirely yours and you make changes wherever you see fit.

Of course, you will first need to buy the product from a seller before you can start doing this. The seller will be someone who is good at content creation but perhaps doesn’t want to do their own marketing. Either that, or they are already selling the products themselves and they simply see this as another way to make some extra cash from something they’ve already created.

Normally, you’ll find that the creator also packages in a lot of other extras to help you sell. That means they might provide you with a ‘ready-made’ sales page, ready-made email marketing messages, ready-made freebies that you can give away with your product and more!

The products themselves can also vary but they will generally be digital products. That means the product is something intangible that provides value by offering information. The most classic and obvious example is selling eBooks, which are simply large book length documents saved in PDF format .Other options, however, can include courses, video courses, audiobooks, software, reports etc. Likewise, a PLR product can of course focus on nearly any niche, fitness, making money online, dating, or something else entirely.

Why PLR?

1. Done for you already

The first and most obvious advantage of PLR is that you won’t have to make the products yourself. If you want to sell a 20,000 word eBook for instance, then all you need to do is to find the book you like that may appeal to your readers or audience.

This means you don’t need to be a fantastic writer, it means you don’t need to spend days or months writing a book, editing or formatting your book layout or creating the book cover .

2 .Professional outlook.

What’s more, is that the end product you’ll get to sell is likely to be more professional than whatever you could create yourself. That is not to undermine your skills as a creator but simply to state that a PLR product is a product that has been designed and created from the ground up by a team of experts (or an individual expert…)  who do this for a living and who know their onions.

These are people who have access to all the most useful tools for creating products and who know how to put something together that will get a response from audiences. This, of course, increases the likelihood that your product will sell and it improves your chances of getting a positive response from those who buy it.

Better yet is the fact that even your sales materials are ready made for you. And once again, these are ready made by people who truly understand the business and know how to write highly effective sales content that will help you to sell quickly and effectively.

3 .Low risk  on investment.

Another benefit from using PLR products instead of having to create the product yourself is that you’ll be able to scale much more easily and you’ll be taking far less risk.

You must understand that If you create a product on your own or even commission the creation of a product, then you will need to spend either countless hours of your own time or a lot of money in getting the product created.

If your product then turns out to be a failure and no one buys it, you will have lost all of that time and all of that money which is not so with PLR products as they come with low risks, have been tested and proven to be profitable.

4. Instant ROI

Even if an old product you created yourself is a success, you’ll then need to go back to the drawing board in order to rebuild your new product and get it to the point where it is ready to sell. This will make it hard for you to really capitalize on your initial successes, and it will mean you could end up taking a long time to follow up and build on that initial success.

Compare this with selling PLR products.

Here, you can launch a product and quickly start making big sales and then follow that up almost immediately with a new product. You can then pour back the profits from that into more new products  – quickly and effectively scaling up your business for massive profits.

5 .Win win situation

Likewise, if you buy a PLR product and start selling it and it doesn’t go right, then you haven’t lost much. A PLR product won’t set you back by that much in most cases and because you didn’t have to invest huge amounts of time, you can simply pick up the pieces by retouching it  and then try again!

6. Variety of tested products.

Even more powerful is the fact that you can choose products that you already know are selling well. That in turn, means that you have a 100% guarantee that the products at least have the potential to sell well.

They’re already selling and the only thing that is changing is the platforms you will be selling them on. You are literally lifting someone’s tried and tested business and then dropping it onto you own site. There has never been a more straightforward way to make money, or one that offers better odds for you as a seller.

Types of Rights

Before you jump in, one of the first things you need to consider is the type of rights that you are going to be buying. This is important ,as getting it wrong could mean that you can’t actually sell the product, or you can’t edit it – the latter point may or may not be an issue depending on your intended business strategy.

There are a few different terms you need to familiarize yourself with in that case. There are,

Resale Rights / Resell Rights (RR)

Means that you have the right to resell the product. This is pretty straight forward and does precisely what it says .However, this does not necessarily mean that you’ll be able to make edits to the product.

You may have additional rights on top of the resale rights and you need to check that this is explicitly stated.

In most cases, you’ll also gain access to some of the sales materials that the creator has been using to sell their products. In this way, you are being actively encouraged to sell without edits.

Master resale rights (MRR)

Meanwhile means that you not only have the right to resell the product but you also have the right to resell the rights.

In other words, you can resell the product to other marketers so that they can resell it as well!

This creates another avenue for you to make money and is especially useful if you happen to be in the internet marketing niche – in which case, most of your potential customers will probably be interested in selling as well.

Private Label Right (PLR)

This is where the product becomes truly yours and without limit. Now you can not only sell the product and the rights but you also have the option to edit the product. That means you can put your name on it, you can put your company’s brand on it, or you can even change the very topic of the product.

This is exciting for marketers as you now get to sell something as though it were your own product, and that in turn means that your business gets the credit. What’s more, it means you can change the product to better fit the niche you’re in, to be more appealing to your specific audience, or to align with your personal views and ideas.

WRITE MORE BOOKS IN LESS TIME

 #1 -  Use Information You've Already Written

If you have your own website, blog or Facebook profile, chances are you've written a few articles and posts. Go through them and group them together by subject. Then use them as material for your ebook.

You may need to write new information to fill in the gaps, but you've already done the research, so it'll be faster than writing an eBook from scratch. Take advantage of work you've already done by re-purposing it instead of letting it stagnate on your hard drive or wall..

#2 - Use a Detailed Outline

Before writing an ebook, make an outline of the topics to include. The more detailed your outline, the easier the information will be to write. Use a keyword tool such as the Google keyword suggestion tool to brainstorm topics.

Simply, type in the subject of your book, and see what keyword suggestions come up. Once you have your outline in front of you, write as quickly as you can without editing. You can go back later and make changes. Never edit while you're writing, it will only slow you down. You'll be surprised how quickly that eBook will come together using this technique

#3 - Speak Your EBook

You may find speaking your thoughts is easier than typing them out, especially if you're a slow typist. Use voice recognition free apps such as google voice transcribe to transcribe your eBook as you speak. You may have to work with the software to train it to recognize what you're saying, but once you do it's a real time-saver.

#4 -  Interview Someone

People love reading interviews from experts in a field. Find someone who's knowledgeable about your topic to interview - and then transcribe the interview into an ebook.

This is one of the quickest ways to produce a quick ebook. For a longer eBook you can include interviews from more than one expert. The experts will enjoy the publicity, and they'll benefit from a link back to their website. Everyone benefits.

#5 Outsource your book

If you can afford it, you can create your book by outsourcing the process to professionals who are expert at providing content this is proven to attract  a specific audience and bring in sales.

You can hire freelancers from FIVERR ,UPWORK  and others. You could also hire a professional and experienced author to ghost write your book

#6- Use PLR books and materials

This is by far the best option to creating multiple books in little time .ITs also makes it very possible for you to make the kind of money you want to writing and selling books.

Come to think of it, no matter how good you are at writing fast you can never write more than one book a day even if you ve already outlined it , talk least of the time spent researching and outlining those details.

No matter how good you are at creating content on your website , blog and other social media walls, you can never have sufficient to create at least 5 good books in 2 days, right?.

Even if you're the best TEDx speaker , you can't make it to 10 books a day , transcribing all your best speeches without spending a dime.

And if you had to interview all the whole influencers , you still would never be able create 5 quality books , considering the time , cost and other logistics involved but there is a huge cache of pre-written materials that you can purchase, or acquire freely, edit, repurpose and use in any way you like since it's copyright-free. There are numerous online sites that offer packages of material such as audios, videos, ebooks, articles, softwares on any subject to website owners and eBook writers.

In the subsequent posts, I will show you how to use what-is-plr.  to create content such as ebooks, articles, blog posts, ecourses etc for your business and brand as an Author , Entrepreneur or Influencer.
